This was the first art show I ever had work in at 17 years old. At 34 years old today I am still loyal to my intrigue of gender and art making. I submit this abstract sculptural piece as a re-imagined form of my gender as a non-binary person derived from a feminine core. In making this work I gave myself these guidelines: no goals, no breakables, no judgment, no outcomes. Here is what instinct gave me.
